COLE SNiDER MEMORIAL SCHOLARHIP FUND
Cole on a family hiking trip in the Dolomites, June 2024
Cole Snider graduated with honors from Torrey Pines High School in 2016 and went on to earn a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business.
An avid student of history and fluent in Spanish, Cole’s studies inspired him to travel extensively throughout Europe to explore historical sites and hiking trails. Among the countries Cole enjoyed visiting -- England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
He was a wonderful son and friend, a tender-hearted and extremely intelligent young man who loved hiking & camping, surfing, health & fitness, and his community.
Cole was working as a substitute teacher at Torrey Pines and the other schools in the San Dieguito Union High School District, and at the local elementary schools. In addition, he was employed by Hammer Prep Inc., as an academic tutor for college-bound students. Cole was also in the process of obtaining his high school teaching credential.
He passed away in October of 2024 due to a tragic accident. He was 26, one month shy of his 27th birthday.
We’d like to thank the TPHS Scholarship Fund for helping us honor Cole. And we hope the recipient will find this scholarship helpful in achieving his or her goals.
